This community includes FEMA, state and local emergency managers, HAZUS User Group leaders and members, HAZUS trainers, universities and HAZUS developers. USEHAZUS is the only web space on the internet dedicated entirely to HAZUS. You will find everything you need to know about HAZUS software, User Groups, projects, training and events here.
USEHAZUS encourages participation and includes links to send us content or feedback on nearly every page. Please send us information regarding your project, conference or training event. The value of USEHAZUS is in the accuracy and depth of its content.

Jamie Caplan Consulting
Jamie Caplan assisted Jim Buika in 1997 to form the first Bay Area HAZUS User Group. Since then, Jamie has worked as a FEMA contractor providing technical expertise to HAZUS User Groups nationwide. Jamie’s accomplishments include authoring FEMA 404: How to Create a HAZUS User Group, strategic planning and outreach for many of the HAZUS User Groups. Jamie Caplan continues to work as a FEMA contractor providing assistance to all of the HAZUS User Groups.
