RAUG
Risk Assessment User Group (RAUG)
The group is unchartered and consist of a loose affiliation of people interested in hazard risk assessment for disaster reduction.
Web resources to support the risk assessment community of practice are in development through a consortium of researchers.
Currently the RAUG is facilitated by the Quantitative Risk Assessment Project of Natural Resources Canada’s Program for Public Safety Geoscience.

Foster and support a network of stakeholders in the application of hazard risk assessment to decision making and disaster risk reduction. Share best practices in risk assessment and its use.
RAUG Scope
Open to anyone interested in hazard risk assessment. Having started in Canada it promotes solutions for reducing Canadian hazard disasters. It is open to learning and sharing globally.
