The requirements for Canadian Federal Departments to meet the 2007 Emergency Management Act (EMA) and to provide an overview of the Federal Policy for Emergency Management (FPEM) 2009. Mr. L’Heureux will also provide a short overview of the Canadian Federal Emergency Response Plan (FERP) and the National Emergency Response System (NERS); these two documents have just been approved. Please keep in mind that these four documents do not address using Hazus.
