What We Do
The CHUG (Central HAZUS Users Group) was formed with the intent of providing a means of collaboration between HAZUS users within FEMA Region V (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin). This group looks at software problems, HAZUS projects, and the overall general use of the HAZUS software. Sharing the successes and failures between users helps to bring the entire region together in planning for natural disasters.
CHUG Mission
The overall goal of the CHUG is to maximize the potential of HAZUS and to get the most out of its results within the region.

- INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- As 2008 draws to a close, time is also running out for applicants seeking to benefit from FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) Pilot Program. The final day of the program is New Year's Eve, December 31.

- COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have obligated $95,753 in Public Assistance (PA) reimbursement funds to the City of Whitehall for expenses incurred during the September 14 wind storm.

- COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have obligated $27,886 in Public Assistance (PA) reimbursement funds to Tipp City for expenses incurred during the September 14 wind storm.
