We plan to discuss how HEC-FIA (Flood Impact Analysis), a flood damage tool for the US Army Corps of Engineers, uses the HAZUS database to create a geospatial structure inventory for damage assessment.  This topic will include distributing the structures, valuing the structures, and filling the structures with people for the calculation of population at risk, and life loss potential.
