Since we are testing, might as well ask a real question - has anyone heard when the official release date for the HAZUS MH MR4 is? I heard it might have been pushed back a few months due to a new bug.

The official line at NIBS was that MR4 would be delivered in the late winter of 2009:

Although this was an old press release, I don’t know what the current status of MR4 is. Anyone know where we are now?

The information below is from an email I received from Phil Schneider at NIBS.

The HAZUS-MH MR3 Patch 3 release is expected between March 20 and April 6.

The MR4 and CDMS 2.5 releases are expected between May 15 and May 29

The release dates for both will depend on the number of corrections needed before finalization.

Thanks. Is it still open for beta testing? We are attempting to prep our systems in house for a new version of the Hawaii HAZUS Atlas. Our systems guys want to know how different it is from MH MR3. If it isn’t much then we will just use what we have for now.

Can they send to me a description of the Hawaii Atlas?  What data is in it, in what format, what platforms is it compatible with, particularly which version of HAZUS?

Andrea - Phil Schneider at NIBS sent me the above questions via email.  Why don’t you contact him directly at Philip Schneider [pschneider@nibs.org]
