- FEMA To Evaluate Readiness Of Pennsylvania
- PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency will evaluate a Biennial Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station in Berwick, Pa., during the week of October 20. The exercise will test the capability of the off-site response organizations to respond to a simulated emergency at the nuclear facility.

- PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency will evaluate a Biennial Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the North Anna Power Station. The exercise will take place during the week of July 21 to test the ability of the Commonwealth of Virginia to respond to an emergency at the nuclear facility.
- Deadlines Nearing For Local Officials Needing Disaster Help
- BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Local officials of 15 West Virginia counties, who may be interested in applying for federal-state assistance for damages to community infrastructure in the wake of the severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, mudslides and landslides June 3 - 7, are approaching deadlines to request Public Assistance (PA), Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) officials said today.
